Define reorder triggers
Set weeks-of-cover targets by tier: deeper for heroes, thinner for experiments. When on-hand plus inbound falls below the trigger, reorder without waiting for a crisis.
Separate store display minimums from warehouse reserve so fixtures never look empty.

Protect color and construction continuity
Reference sealed samples and prior lot photos on every reorder. Handwoven categories can drift if standards are not restated.
Call out any packaging or label changes explicitly in the PO.
Communication template
Send item numbers, quantities, target ship window, and “match previous lot” notes in one message. Attach the cover image of the hero if multiple similar SKUs exist.
Ask for confirmation of MOQ, price validity, and packing before deposit or production start.
