Store Fixture Planning for Basket Walls and Organization Bays
A basket wall works when fixtures, sizes, and color blocks are designed together.

Measure fixtures before finalizing SKUs
Shelf depth, bay width, and sightline height should drive basket selection. Rectangular and oval styles often maximize linear shelf efficiency, while rounds shine on tables and endcaps.
Bring fixture measurements into the buying meeting, not after the container arrives.

Design density without chaos
Use vertical size ladders and horizontal color blocks. Leave breathing room so customers can remove and replace baskets without collapsing the display.
Cap the number of unrelated silhouettes. A wall with three families looks curated; a wall with twelve random shapes looks like overflow.
Operational replenishment
Label shelf edges with item numbers and size codes so staff can replenish accurately. Keep backup stock nearby during peak organization seasons.
Review heat maps of sell-through by shelf position after four to six weeks and rebalance.
